What We Are Missing: A Response To Today's Word
Those of you who have followed my ministry for any length of time will probably have realized that I do not run this page like you will see anywhere else on facebook. For starters, I do consider this holy ground even if others do not. I do not explain the daily words because I am not the mediator, Christ is and you have the Holy Spirit who will apply the word specifically and tailored to you. Just as reading bible passages will mean something unique to each person, so too will the daily word. Your relationship with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit is what is important to me. I will not get in the way of what He is doing in your life even when it is through me. I will not draw the attention back to me if that makes understanding my role easier. I am the vessel of what God is saying. You have your own journey and God is doing a new work in each one of you.
God will never contradict the Word, but He WILL contradict our UNDERSTANDING of His Word. When God created the Five Fold Ministry, it was to keep the integrity and purity of the Scriptures. We see Paul continually correcting the abuse that was going on with people using the Gospel incorrectly for their own agenda and comfort level. We even see Paul correcting Peter in Galatians 2. People misunderstand many of Paul’s writings because they were in letter form. In letters, you first write what the other person wrote to you so they know what the subject is that you are replying to. Many read Paul's’ writings believing Paul to be saying this and that, when he was merely correcting in later passages the errors of that church. If you study the Bible in the original language/context, you will gain much more understanding as words, phrases, and thoughts do not always translate well into other languages, especially with biblical context. This is partly why we have so many different translations. We have to be willing to dig deep and not take passages out of the context to fit our current agenda or beliefs. This is what was happening in the book of Acts.
The Five Fold ministry faded out obviously not because it was not vitally important or needed. It was because man’s heart was hard and did not want to be corrected or challenged. The Five Fold holds the Offices. Not everyone is in an Office even if they have the gift. You can be prophetic but not a Prophet and so on. Prophets and Apostles are the foundational pieces that the Church is built on. Prophets were the forerunners in the Old Testament and we see Apostles the forerunners in the New Testament. Both are needed and within these mantles, both will flow. We see this clearly in Moses as he was equally strong in both mantles/office. Today, we see a great division in biblical teaching. It is to the critical mass point that Jesus is stepping in with a force not seen before, reestablishing a Plumbline and Correction on deep deep levels. He is raising up a new generation who are carriers of His Truth, but what is happening is that the truth is so foreign and unfamiliar that at the first word in the sentence, people are already offended. They have turned off their ears and are just waiting to react to what was said. We must be a people of patience to let the Holy Spirit guide us and cast aside completely our own opinions. We have to take a deep breath and really look at what is being said. We have to let God move us into His Alignment.
Today’s word: The Father says, “Follow your heart. Yes, you heard Me correctly.” ~Right here God is grabbing your attention. Why? Because the first sentence Follow your heart is going to cause many to stop in their tracks with a desire to rebuke and fight right off the bat. Yes, you heard Me correctly. ~Again, God is drawing us in to set some things straight in our lives, and we need to listen to all that He has to say.
“Too many view this as a secular notion or a case of rebellion, but look again in this Hour.” ~God is showing us something we haven’t been paying attention to. “When you are unable to see or hear Me, look at the gems that I placed in your Heart! My Compass is there to set the direction, and My Fire is there to ignite the momentum. I download to you all that I have for you. It establishes balance and passion if you allow it to.”
God nowhere in here said you are following your own junk in your heart! You are following His Compass, His Fire, and what He has placed inside of you. This is not about your own flesh or will. Many people saw “Follow your heart” and stopped listening to what exactly God was saying. They turned the channel immediately. If we are not a people who will listen to what God has to say all the way through and ponder it fully and openly in our own time with God, we will always miss the gems He is giving us each and every day. Our offense meter is too high that we cannot even see God show us something we are missing.
God speaks to us in a million or more different ways throughout our day. We miss 99% of it because we are only looking for a handful of ways He may choose to speak. We are so jaded by leadership failures that we assume we are all alone living our own truth that we pridefully think is not flawed. We won’t listen to God’s vessels even when God has shown up and out through them. We think we are the judge of everything, and we end up judging against what God is doing and saying.
God will leave a closed mind closed. He will leave a person on the wrong path if they choose to be there. Being humble allows God to do His work completely in us. We all have religious idols, teachings, and bad theology taught to us that God is removing in this hour. God will keep sending you people who rub you the wrong way for a reason. He is trying to get your attention to something He desires to change or shift on the inside of you.
When something seems off, it is a time to dig deeper for God will show you something in that moment. The message will always start on the inside of us before God ever uses it somewhere else. There may even be decades in between the lesson and the using of that in your walk.
The Prophetic is a Revelatory Anointing. John was a Revelator and he spoke about many things that he experienced that were not spoken about anywhere else in the Bible. Paul’s thorn was that the people would not accept his Revelatory experiences so he was not able to share the wonders of that God had shown him or taken him in the spirit realms. We have to not place walls or limits around God. God speaks in Mysteries so that His people will seek Him out. Be curious and Seek God out. God is not boring and He is not hard to get along with. He is trying to take us Higher and Walk in all that He has made available to us here on Earth. When we shut down that line of communication, God cannot show us what we are not open to.
2 Chronicles 1 Solomon Worships at Gibeon
1 Solomon the son of David established himself in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.
2 Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to all the leaders in all Israel, the heads of fathers' houses. 3 And Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon, for the tent of meeting of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness, was there. 4 (But David had brought up the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the place that David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem.) 5 Moreover, the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, had made, was there before the tabernacle of the Lord. And Solomon and the assembly sought it[a] out. 6 And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tent of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
Solomon Prays for Wisdom 7 In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask what I shall give you.” 8 And Solomon said to God, “You have shown great and steadfast love to David my father, and have made me king in his place. 9 O Lord God, let your word to David my father be now fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth. 10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can govern this people of yours, which is so great?” 11 God answered Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for possessions, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, and have not even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you. I will also give you riches, possessions, and honor, such as none of the kings had who were before you, and none after you shall have the like.” 13 So Solomon came from[b] the high place at Gibeon, from before the tent of meeting, to Jerusalem. And he reigned over Israel.
Solomon Given Wealth 14 Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 15 And the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stone, and he made cedar as plentiful as the sycamore of the Shephelah. 16 And Solomon's import of horses was from Egypt and Kue, and the king's traders would buy them from Kue for a price. 17 They imported a chariot from Egypt for 600 shekels[c] of silver, and a horse for 150. Likewise through them these were exported to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.
